There are death benefits, be it natural or accidental death or dismemberment depending on your age when you join. Optional insurance is available at reasonable rates.
There are health care programs that can save you money, like a prescription program, eye glasses, and dental.
A scholarship program for students entering high school or college, which we participate in.
The state has several events with reduced rates for members only. You can go to nysfop.org to see some of the other programs.

MEMORIAL LODGE 100 SCHOLARSHIPS: This year our Lodge will offer two (2) College scholarships for the children of our members. This is a benefit separate from the State scholarships, available only for Lodge 100 members.
The scholarships are for schools that charge tuition. The student must be entering the first year of college
for the fall semester of 2021. If you have more than one child eligible, you will need to photocopy the application for each child, but only one (1) application per child. Recipients will be chosen by a random drawing. Winners will be notified by telephone/ email.

LODGE BENEFITS
If you travel and have any problems and need help from the local police, you will be treated by brother/sister officers as a member of the family with few exceptions. The same is true of your family members who are traveling. For Associate members, others will recognize that you are a supporter. Remember the FOP is a national organization.
Lodge 100 offers several programs exclusively for our members.
We have a reduced rate program with BJ's outlets.
